2009 FHMC TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
(TOC)
PLAYER POINTS
QUALIFYING FORMAT:
·
Players will qualify for the TOC through a point system.
·
All three (3) leagues will use the same qualifying
format
·
Event winner(s) will receive a total of 5 points
·
Second place finishers will receive a total of 3
points
·
Third place finishers will receive a total of 1
point
·
Placing in a “special” event (ie. Guest Day, Club
Championship) doubles the point value
o
ie. First place finish gets you 10 points
·
Qualifying players (Total 64 FHMC Members) are based
on percentage of league participants
o
Saturday 18 league = Top 18 point totals qualify
§
based on having 27% of FHMC
o
Wednesday 18 league = Top 22 point totals qualify
§
based on having 35% of FHMC
o
Wednesday 9 = Top 24 point totals qualify
§
based on having 38% of FHMC

League Chairs will manage point totals throughout the
season
·
Should a tie exist for the final spot – league
chairs will have a blind draw to determine the final position.
·
Players in two leagues can
only qualify for one TOC position
o
Two league players would
qualify within the league where they have the highest point ranking
o
That player’s name would be
removed f6rom the second league list allowing for another name to be
added for the TOC
o
You cannot add points from
both leagues together – each league runs autonomous to all others
·
Last day to earn points is Wednesday (9/2) or Saturday
(9/5)
·
TOC takes place on Saturday (9/19)
·
If a player qualifies in 2 different leagues, he will
represent the league which he is highest in the standings and he
will be removed from the other league, and everyone else in that
league will move up one spot.
